Nethaneel is a Staff Engineer at Google that focuses on designing and implementing large scalable systems. He is from the Caribbean nation of Antigua and Barbuda and currently resides in Austin, TX leading a team of engineers at Google Austin. He has been at Google since August 2014 and in 2018, was a recipient of the “Feat of Engineering Award” which recognizes the top 10% of Google Cloud. Prior to his time at Google, Nethaneel has had a range of experiences ranging from developing casino games for gaming companies from the age of 18 to a variety of system designs and implementations for various startups.
In his personal time, Nethaneel enjoys testing theories out in code, playing the bass guitar, training Brazilian JiuJitsu, gaming and anime.
